On a side note, I vote we arm chimps and let them take over for the NDF, they clearly can do better.

Chimps would be overqualified for this compared to NDF.

Goats would be more comparable staff. More competent but just as valuable in terms of lives.

Tbh in initial stages of the war Yugoslav Teritorial defence performed even worse, which is somewhat similar type of units as NDF. But i must add again... in initial stages of the war like first few months. Far worse equiped units and far less numerous units in Republic of Serbs stopped major Croatian-Bosnian offensive around Nevesinje. I simply cannot cope with this amount of incompetence NDF shows even after years of combat.

That is the thing, they never learn if the war was in it's first year this type of mistake maybe excusable. After over four years still making a blunder this massive? This assault force wasn't even meant to take the city just at BEST cut it off for a week.

This goes to show how pathetic this entire situation is ISIS shouldn't have been allowed to get that far period, At this point, the NDF serves no point, not even meat shields they aren't even capable of that.

I could have held that city with just 1k decent men long enough to allow reinforcement to reach. I have done this also held off large numbers with very limited manpower.

Crews and attached personnel of those vehicles should be identified and sent on some ''scout missions'' to identify enemy MG emplacements.

And yes, by that I do mean use them as bait to flush out tangos.

They have proven to be completely useless in any other role although I am sure they would somehow find a way to f*ck that up as well but on the upside they would only be able to do it once.

16 - T-72 tanks Is this a fucking joke? IS better be pulling those numbers out of their ass, I swear...
I'm in favor of Papa Dragon's suggestion.

Want to read someone's imagination at work?

so US satellites defy physics and produce enough power to block VHF radar? Lol. Yeah, the Russians would be talking about it....

Finding ways to blame their own gross incompetence?

I know, that is the funny part about the whole thing. Not only are satellites not capable of this, but a lot of air based systems are incapable of this unless they had a C-130 or Il-76 system that is pure jamming. Outside of that, it is pure fantasy to push the idea that there is a reason for SAA/NDF Pure fuck up. But there isn't a good one at all.

SAA have lost almost 2,000 km2 of land.

4k since push ti Ark and T3 after liberation of Palmyra
In late May and June of this year, the SAA controlled all of this land, IS gradually eroded away at it over several months.

Palmyra was always a forward operating bastion within IS heartland. It probably served its purpose by buying time for the ongoing Aleppo city offensive. Russians probably have expected this to happen eventually (SAA/NDF failing hard), but planned ahead with eyes of the prize (Aleppo).

That was the dumbest thing I've yet read. Assad is not going to be happy with just the coast nor would Russia, nor would Iran. Plus Iraqis are probably gonna help after Mosul.

Are the SAA  soldiers cowards who abandon their equipment if they're outnumbered, or retards who cant hit a mountain, or are the officers sub 80IQ retards who repeat their retarded tactics even if they don't work? Will the SAA fight better if all of  its generals are purged and Russian officers replace these animals?

Even if we take into account inferior arab IQ why do only bearded swine apparently adapt and can reflect upon their decisions?

Also can anyone show a rare video where syrian tanks fight along with infantry or arent pillboxes, or currently nonexistent footage of SAA ATGM squads?

the SAA doesnt deserve T-90s or buratinos. They need counterbattery radars, APS and PPS at the least, or brain transpants at the most.

The Syrian Army backed by the Russian Air Force has repelled all Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) attempts to recapture the historic city of Palmyra, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

“Over the past night, with active Russian air support, Syrian government forces repulsed all attacks by the terrorists on Palmyra,” the ministry said in a statement.

Over 300 militants were killed in the offensive.

Over 4,000 Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorists, reinforced by tanks, have started an offensive to retake the key Syrian city of Palmyra after regrouping themselves, the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria says.

According to the Russian military, the terrorists have received considerable reinforcement, including heavy military hardware from the regions of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.
