    Fixed for you.

The Ustinov went into dock for upgrade in 2011, yet this fucking autistic twat is yabbering about "90s sensors".

Yeah, special form of stupid, and spiteful to boot.

Also pretty symbolic because the Varyag was the most famous ship sunk by the Japanese in the Russo-Japanese war.

Varyag &co also made a visit to South Korea.

Moskva is getting repairs in 13th Shipyard (Sevastopol I think?). https://flotprom.ru/2018/%D0%A7%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9%D0%A4%D0%BB%D0%BE%D1%8257/

The 13th Ship Repair Plant began work on restoring the march readiness of the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet - the Moskva missile cruiser of the project 1164, the Atlant code. Mil.Press FlotProm was told about this by a source in the company.

According to him, the work will take from six to eight months. The source stressed that the factory workers were given the task of returning the ship to the ship; there is no talk of modernization so far.
So probably minimal work to get it seaworthy to send it to Baltic/North for modernisation.

I'm kinda confused though, it went straight into drydock for about a year after being off Syria 2015/16, still needs more repairs.
I wonder quite how broken it must have been? Did manage to return from Syria under its own power at least.

Varyag and Panteleyev are already in the East China sea, heading for drills with India. Perhaps they'll join Severomorsk in the Indian ocean and visit Pakistan after Pakistani-Russian drills, that will be held till 4th November.

And I guess this is the response https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-and-latest-activity/news/2018/november/16/181116-st-albans-escorts-russian-warship

Royal navy escort for Ustinov returning North via English Channel with a guy manning the minigun.
Remember when there was a big hoohah because the first Russian ship through the Bosphorus after the Turkish shootdown of Russian Su-24 had armed guys on deck? Suspect

Meanwhile Varyag continues on its way to India exercises, visit to Brunei http://charly015.blogspot.com/2018/11/el-varyag-y-compania-en-brunei.html

They might have found some things they wanted to change or upgrade based on experience in Syria...

Its supposed to be going to North for upgrades.

Someone did post that it came out of repair already on Balancer which seems odd & drew some sarcastic remarks.
I think it may indeed be that it came out of repair, the news of it having taken a long time to repair has been held back, only allowed to mention it when the ship became close to being ready.

I've been coming to the conclusion that certain stories around naval repairs/construction delays have been held back from being published for months, then put out once the solution is available so after long silence you get a quick sequence of stories: 'big problem', 'possible solutions' 'choice made' and 'solution implemented'.
