Hello guys, a real pleasure to be here

First of all I would clarify it is not my intend to hijack the thread, but since it seems absolutely apropiate to my request, I will write here instead of opening a new one and making a mess

I've been for some time now set on writing a novel centered on those sweet 636's, and although I collected a (for my very humble standards) wealth of info, I'm still in need of help.

I'm looking for a "generic" crew manifest (well, at least a list that shows how the crew is organised and the command structure in a Kilo submarine or in any similar vessel), something similar to the Kurks crew roster posted online (but any info is welcome, really)

I've been mostly relaying on some excellent video material such as the RT's "Baltic Fleet" (the sub is a 877 kilo, not the newer 636)

And a couple of indian documentaries on the "Sindughosh class" (sorry can't post links yet)

The indian docus show areas I am very interested into, like as i said the kitchen area, corridors, etc, but I need some more detailed layout, who is in which compartment, this sort of details (don't really know if that is classsified, the "Baltic Fleet" documentaries almost show it all already)

After almost giving up I thought that if I needed something as specialised as this, I might as well ask the pro's, so I decided to join the forum and ask you guys.

If you would be kind enough to support this inexperienced Technothriller wanabee writer I'll be infinitely grateful.

P.S: Any kind of material is welcomed, books (are there any novels set in a Kilo? would love to know, couldn't find any myself), films, anything really that shows the roles of the crew and such

Welcome to the forum... your post has been moved here to where is should have gone. Smile

Now that you have a proper intro thread you can post on other threads and ask your questions or post your own threads for questions...

    Smile
