    Russia's Long-Range Bombers Carry Out 60 Sorties in Four Days

    Russia's long-range Tu-22M3 bombers carried out 60 sorties and destroyed 42 terrorist targets in Syria, the Air Force group commander told Vladimir Putin during a briefing.

    http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151120/1030473629/long-range-bomber-sorties.html

    Taking off from the Mozdok airbase in North Ossetia, the bombers carried out strikes on terrorist positions in the Deir ez-Zor province in Syria.

    "The targets are over 2,000 km away from the base, and each mission sortie takes at least 5 hours", said base commander Vladimir Alesenko.

    He added that the crews make two sorties every 24 hours, with one mission flight taking place at night.

    Russian Air Force Carries Out 394 Sorties, Hits 731 Targets in Three Days

    Russian jets have carried out 394 sorties from the Hmeymim airbase in Syria in the last three days, base commander Alexey Maksimtsev told Russian President Vladimir Putin during a Defense Ministry briefing.

    http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151120/1030472511/russia-strikes-hundreds-targets.html

    The airstrikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces have helped the Syrian Army advance on all directions, with the most progress made outside Aleppo and in the mountainous area of Latakia, Major General Alexei Maksimtsev, Commander of the Russia Air Force Unit at the Hmeymim air base, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    "Airstrikes targeted 731 militant command points in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib, and outside Palmyra. In addition, the air force unit was augmented with eight Su-34 bombers and a squadron of Su-27SM3 jet fighters which were involved in destroying targets in the provinces of Raqqa and Deir er-Zor," Maksimtsev said.

    He underscored that surveillance of all types has been conducted in Syria to guarantee hitting all militant targets.

    "Advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are used for surveillance, target indication, and monitoring the airstrikes," he underscored.

    The general pointed out that during the massive airstrikes, gas and oil producing facilities, command points, ammo depots, training camps and missile-manufacturing factories were destroyed.

    "Russian strike aircraft continue to launch massive airstrikes. There are no casualties among the personnel, as well as no losses of equipment."

    Something to preempt ultron's next rant...

    Kremlin Rules Out Syria Ground Operation

    Kremlin ruled out the possibility of ground action in the next phases of Russia's operation in Syria.

    http://sputniknews.com/russia/20151120/1030470925/kremlin-syria-operation-ground.html#ixzz3s3hS8TyK

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov categorically ruled out the possibility of ground action in the next phases of Russia's operation in Syria on Friday.

    "Yes, absolutely. There has been no talk, and there is still no talk of a ground operation," Peskov told reporters when asked if Russia was still determined to avoid boots on the ground in Syria.

    Very low quality source but awesome news if true:

    ISIS dump jihadi corpses in excrement pits with no Muslim burial as Putin airstrikes bite[b]

    ISLAMIC State has been so heavily hit by Russian airstrikes it is dumping bodies of dead jihadis in Syrian sewage pits filled with human excrement rather than giving them a Muslim burial...............

    Talk about ramming home a point

    Russian Tu-16os launch Syrian air strike from Kola Peninsula, in far northwest Russia, in a global strike show.

    During the night between Nov. 19 and 20, the Russian Air Force conducted a very long-range strike mission against IS targets in Syria: two Tu-160 Blackjack strategic bombers departed from Olenegorsk airbase, in the Kola Peninsula around 21.00z but, instead of taking the usual route through the Caspian Sea and Iran, went westbound, skirted the airspaces of Norway and the UK, flew over the Atlantic until Gibraltair, entered the Mediterranean sea and flew eastbound towards Syria and then eastbound along the usual corridor, back to Russia.

    Fantastic footage of the Russian Su-30SMs escorting the Tu-160s over the Mediterranean Sea. Between Nov. 19 and 20, two Russian Tu-160 Blackjack bombers launched from northwest Russia for a 13,000km journey around Europe, to launch cruise missiles against ground targets in Syria. During the mission, the aircraft were identified and escorted off UK by RAF Eurofighter Typhoons; however, the British interceptors in QRA (Quick Reaction Alert) were not the only aircraft they met during their long mission: over the Mediterranean Sea they were intercepted and escorted by at least three Su-30SM Flankers launched from Latakia.

    And here’s a really interesting footage showing the rendez-vous between the bombers and their escorts and the subsequent launch of cruise missiles (that seem to be KH-555s).

    Wow so flawed report and coming from such supposedly prestigious publication.
    Most of Syria is desert and Empty lands that neither ISIS ,neither Syrian army controls
    is simply no man lands.. What should be compared is how many Cities/towns the terrorist lost since American intervention ,versus Russia intervention. close to 0% cities and towns have been liberated by US airstrikes. Their only contribution was to help Kurds keep Kobani.and few other towns. But this is because US support kurds ,but also ISIS too.

    why waste an opportunity to make a political point by performing a long range ground attack mission with a strategic bomber Wink

    French media said a long time ago that the passports were fake, bought in Turkey. What's up with you? There is absolutely no way to implicate Assad into this so your false flag hypothesis holds no steam.

    "Za nashix" = For ours.

    There is an implicit noun in the Russian phrase. In English we have

    ours = our + noun

    In Russian there is no "ours" but there is "our":

    nash = our
    nashi = our (nominative plural)
    nashix = our (genitive and ablative plural)
