    Twisted Evil

Baghdad Authorizes Russia to Strike ISIS in Iraq

Iraq finally green lights Russian strikes on ISIS convoys coming from Syria

    http://russia-insider.com/en/military/iraqi-government-authorizes-russia-strike-isis-iraq/ri10701

Open season on ISIS convoys in Iraq

The Iraqi government authorized Russia to target Daesh convoys coming from Syria, a senior Iraqi official said.

The authorization for Russia to target Daesh inside Iraq comes amid security coordination between Iraq, Russia, Iran and Syria.

Hakem al-Zamli, chief of the Iraqi parliament’s security and defense committee, told Anadolu Agency on Friday that the measure contributed to weakening Daesh by cutting off its supply routes.

Russia, an ally of the Assad regime, began carrying out airstrikes in Syria on Sept. 30. According to the Kremlin, the strikes are aimed at weakening the Daesh militant group, an avowed enemy of the regime.

Turkey and several western countries, however, accuse Russia of targeting moderate groups in Syria opposed to Assad, many of which enjoy the support of Ankara and Washington.

Iraq has been gripped by a security vacuum since June 2014 when Daesh stormed the northern city of Mosul and declared a self-styled caliphate in parts of Iraq and Syria.

Not too long ago, Jordan was sending in CIA backed "moderate terrorists" to open a southern front. Now they are opening a center in Jordan, to coordinate with the Russians. USA CIA position continues to crumble?

Russia, Jordan to coordinate actions on Syria via Amman-based center

In case you don't know : There's massive US presence over the border in Jordan

Jordan has always been a fence sitter. More pro west though. Queen Noor is an American who married Hussein, this guy's father. Her old man was a Pan Am exec and had been an advisor to Truman and Kennedy. I wouldn't trust him.

Don't worry about reading the entire agitprop article, I just highlighted the most important part:

“Probably 60 to 80 percent of the arms that America shoveled in have gone to al-Qaida and its affiliates,” said Joshua Landis, a Syria expert at the University of Oklahoma.

does anyone know how the Syian airforce is doing? are they still carrying out attacks? there aircraft must surely be on there last legs with the amount of hours they have put in. Any news on the Yak 130 deliveries?

someone on here mentioned Su-17 and Mig-27 should be used, i back what everyone else said that these aircrft are probably scrapped or would cost far too much money to bring back into service, what would be a better option would be other countries donating or selling very cheaply aircraft that Syrian airforce could use straight away with none to little training, the following is some suggestions. Obviously this would all depend on how air worthy the aircraft is and if the countries would be willing.

Indian - Mig 21 Bis/Bison (slowly phasing out)
    - MiG-27 Bahadur (slowly phasing out)

Kazakhstan - Mig 23 (small number left)
    - Mig 27 ( small number left)

Turkmenistan - Su-17 (out of service not sure what state there in)

Belarus - Su-24 (out of service in 2012)

China - Nanchang Q-5 (slowly phasing them out)

and i am sure some ex soviet countries including Russia will have some Mi-24 and Mi-8 sitting in storage as well.

all these countries and Algeria could all support the campaign by providing fuel, various ammunition, and spare parts,

Sure because islamists who are fighting in ME are always prone to spread their psychological warfare for english audience (western world) and not their enemies, arabs (Syrians). You can believe what you want, but fact is fact, all that garbage in english is aimed at us and is entirely useless against those who they are claiming to fight.

Ofc its aimed at us, however people that post in english from ME are very rare, except those that are obviously paid westerners or trolls. This guy was mostly legit till this day. Not that i really know his biography but some people said he is actually just a mercenary.
