    Excessive Graphics in Signatures

Post  GarryB on Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:43 am

I have noticed recently a few members have several large images in their signatures.

Can I suggest members limit themselves to one image that is not too large.

Right now it is a suggestion but if the guilty parties don't take some action and remove the images, then us mods will have to get together and have a chat and make a decision about rules regarding signatures and you may not like what we come up with.

Hopefully those members with several images in their signatures will take the necessary action and this will be the end of it.

    Regards

How come no links are allowed in the signatures?

Could you please address the issue of videos in the signature? It has got really excessive and makes the loading of the forum pages very slow...

The only thing I can do is enable or disable signatures.

You can send users who have videos in signature on vacation, no need to disable anything

Yes we can  but we need to stop the practice at its core  and punishment is not effective.

From what I can tell only one guy keeps video in signature and he was never punished for it (not even a warning)

Decent sized ban should do wonders

Just for clarity: I am not trying or suggesting to get anyone banned, only to address a concrete issue that affects the operation of the forum.

    Thanks

After observing multiple abuses of the signature policy I have decided to disable the feature.
