Anyone remember the fantastic pr that zaharchenko was putting out during the winter must be very confused right now. The videos of him and ukrainian prisoners were a little propagandistic, but very true in terms of showing the character of the man and his feelings.

Yet now, all that for some reason has been washed away....

I can understand them making themselves appear weak for military reasons, but the PR war is one you never, ever let up on.
Something was said that directly conflicts with something that happens that negates what is said and brings it into derision. About removing weapons under 100mm and the reasons why they could be brought back to the front.

Sorry i should have been clearer in my post, I wasnt talking about the content of your post in particular, but i was generalising about the pr in general. What has happened to it?

We can debate all day long about whether or not they are doing the right thing militarily, but on the pr front something for sure is going on that isnt good.

Has there been any indication of why suddenly they seem a little, out of touch shall we say?

Right Sector tried to prevent that.

    Indeed..

You can summarize the Ukraine war.. into..

1)Americans and Kiev and CIA financed Ultra Nationals. trying to turn all Ukraine into a Rusophobic Nation... To split Ukraine forever from Russia and that include rewriting their history and with help of media propaganda about "Russia is to blame" for all and of course the military operation .

    2) RUssia and Neutral Ukrainians and Novorosiya trying to create a united front against western
interference in Ukraine ,Ultra Nationalist and kiev.

The good news is that Ukraine is not a Rusophobic Nation the majority of it.. that is..
Vast majority of Ukrainians voted for Yakunovych in previous elections , he won offering close relations with Europe and Russia.. European Integration..yes.. but No to NATO that everyone knows is anti Russian.. And Timoshenko voted for NATO integration.. and got near half of the votes.

Still people who voted for Timoshenko ,im sure not all supported the idea of joining NATO ,but they were scared to vote for Communist and wanted a faster integration into Europe .
That said. .the real Rusophobia in Ukraine is a minority ,should be about 10% to 20% of all Ukrainians.. if not less 5%.  but unfortunately they were installed in power ,so they control
half of the parliament.. and the other half are financed /Bribed by the west. Poroshenko for example is not Rusophobic. but he have to look like one if he hopes to continue in power.. and not killed like Gadafi..notice how Poroshenko business continues operating in Russia.  Wink
But in real practice Poroshenko is not a leader who will take Ukraine out of the civil war..
He is a perfect example of an Oligarch and he will dance to the better money offer. The Former minister of defense in Ukraine.. lets not forget how much money he was paid for bombing eastern Ukraine for all 2014..  No less than a $36 millions Property in UK.  If that was the bribing he took for supporting americans proxy war in Russia.. imagine how much bribing have to be taking Poroshenko?

Now Ukraine is already showing clear signs of dismembering..
In western Ukraine.. Zakarpattia , who have been unofficially Autonomous city ,and not following all Kiev laws for decades.. reports surface of most of the Government buildings  there with Hungarian flags .  Cool and the Government in Hungary saying is ready to help the 150,000 hungarians living in Ukraine..  They don't even deny they are monitoring what happens
there and after the shooting between Right Sector and Hungarian-Ukrainian police you bet ,
this will be just the start of major conflicts.. and sooner or later will turn into another Novorosiya front.. demanding their Independence.

THen You have the Odessa Front.. that also Ukraine have to send no less than 150 humvees to
keep in control the city.. In the odessa Front.. people wonder why the Georgian former President hire Good looking sexy females to work near him? He first hired the i am Ukrainian Girl ,that was the face of Ukraine in the west.. selling the idea of a "peaceful revolution for freedom" .  The fact is that the Former Georgian president fully knows Russia have weapons
that can wipe him with a direct hit.. and with ZERO probability to miss ,whenever Russia wants it... in case a major war start between Ukraine and Russia.. lets say that Ukraine start bombing
RUssians peacemakers in MOldova. That will force Russia to enter in Ukraine airspace and shut down any air defense in that zone.. So in this scenario.. the former Georgian President hired
the Ukrainian Girl   As a Human SHield   .  he knows Russia wants at all cost to end the war in Ukraine.. and if Russia try to kill the Georgian Government.. it risk also killing the Ukraine
Girl who works for him..  And this could be used as Propaganda to demonize Russia.. Anything that can unify all Ukrainians against Russia is good for anyone who hates Russia.  So the former Georgian President is protecting itself ,from a Russian missile by surrounding himself with very popular Ukrainians..  However he committed a mistake..

He now hired a Russian citizen too in his Government in odessa..

    http://sputniknews.com/europe/20150719/1024806585.html

Another pretty Girl.. this time Russian , that will serve as a Human Shield against Iskanders o
Club missiles .   This time however she will become more a burden for him than anything..
Her position in politics in Ukraine.. will now expose the Biggest Contradiction that we have seen in Ukraine to date. She is anti Putin.. but she is siding with American proxy war against Russia..
and sponsoring the ethnic Cleansing and repression of Russian minorities..  Is that is not an example of shooting on your own foots.. no idea what is..

Her Job in Odessa ,will perfectly Illustrate more clear than Ever..

    1) The fraud that is the Liberal Movement in Russia... How unpatriotic they are ,that join
side with people that directly gave the order to kill Russians. and that is 100% responsible
for the Georgian-Russia war in 2008.

2)That Ukrainians and Russians cannot be split.. as kiev trying to do..
While Kiev is trying to turn all Ukraine into a Rusophobic State.. and creating a law to put in jail everyone who mentions the word Russia.. she says that Ukrainians and Russians are brothers..   lol1

3)Russian Liberals in Russia are protesting her decision to be in Ukraine Politics.. because makes them to look exactly the way they are.. Opportunist Rats.. that will take any job ,even if that means supporting repression on ethnic Russians and the killing of them. .if paid well..

So pay attention to that women..  Maria Gaidar... She either will end killed.. by Ukrainians or by
the CIA..and later blamed on Russia. Is like Nementsov.. more useful dead than alive..with luck
she will only be fired..for not being Anti-Russian enough.. And Kiev ultranationalist are already
mad with her.. because she was asked who is Ukraine at war..and she did not answered the question... IF she says Russia is the enemy.. she will be betraying their own people.. and will hardly find any support again in Russia..if she return. will have to flee to the west like all traitors. If she says the truth.. that Ukraine is fighting her own people.. that is a civil war..
then she will be kicked from ukraine and lose his job. Cool

But if she follows the path of less resistance..and do the easier thing..that is say Russia is the aggressor..she is putting at Risk her own life..  because she will be inviting herself to be used
as an involuntary martyr , so later Russia is blamed for any bad that happens to her.

Whatever it happens.. it looks to me.. that Poroshenko have to be regretting ,the hiring
of the Former Georgian president to be Governmenor in odessa. Maria Gaidar right now is doing more for Russia ,and without knowing about it.. The message she is sending by being in politics
in Ukraine.. is that Russian and Ukrainians can live together.. and are brothers.. and this is not
good for the De-Rusophication of Ukraine.. Cool

SO im wondering what will Maria Gaidar do ,when ukrainians teens start jumping singing their songs about the  hanging of Russians? Will Maria Gaidar also support the killing of her? Laughing
This is becoming pure Comedy..but with horror combined . Now people in Kiev do not know what to do.. with the impossibility of their mission to De-Rusophy Ukraine. if in odessa Russians
are hired into politics ,saying in the media how Ukraine and Russians are brothers.  Cool

So i have the feeling that women will turn to be really a pain in the ass for kiev..even though
she is anti Putin..Cool  Kiev now is on a difficult position.. if they kick her from Ukraine..then
it will reinforce Putin Government policy in Ukraine with the liberals.because when she returns to russia ,she will speak bad things about Kiev and the truth..and unite  the liberals with the Government on their policies with Ukraine. if they allow her to continue in Ukraine speaking about how brotherly are Russians and Ukrainians.. it will weaken Kiev policies..and create more divisions between kiev and Most Ukrainians that do not see Russia as the enemy.

So it will be really interesting to see the developments in Odessa.. While Kiev is trying to
build a new berlin wall between Ukraine and Russia.and literary kick all ethnic Russians from Ukraine with their anti Russian policies.. of no tolerance for anything that is Russian. The new  Georgian Governor is  not helping much kiev policies and ruining their propaganda. With his honesty in public about how broken is Ukraine economy ,and now hiring Russians for government positions in Odessa. yes it will help pacifying the anger in the city with ethnic Russians..just a bit..but it will counter at the same time the policies of Kiev of zero tolerance
    for Russians.

They way it looks to me.. is that the GEorgian new governor in odessa until now if proving to look much more useful for moscow.. than for kiev.. But when it comes to Maria Gaidar.. the game she is playing is really dangerous.. A perfect example of how Russian Liberals have nothing in their brains. She is putting at Risk her own life.. and becoming another nementsov.
That was used as an involuntary martyr to blame Putin for his death.

If Russia wanted to kill Saakashvili, why the fuck would they use an iskander missile? It would way easier to sent in a kill team and take him out with a sniper.

I missed the post, so im wary of jumping the gun a bit here, but seriously what the hell is going on with the pr front?

Something that is not quite what it seems is being presented, so because there is some "unreality" it needs much more vigilance in presentation to avoid contradictions that simply rips what you are presenting to shreds. More thought is needed, more professionalism when briefings are about more than a list of ceasefire violations.

    They really meant it

MOSCOW, July 19. /TASS/. Militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic [DPR] have already pulled out 41 tanks and 84 armoured infantry carriers from the line of contact, Eduard Basurin, a spokesman for the DPR defence ministry, told a briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Sunday. "Over Sunday, we have already withdrawn 41 tanks and 84 armoured infantry carriers," he said. "The weapons withdrawal process in the vicinity of the settlements of Novolaspa and Yelenovka was monitored by representatives of the Special Monitoring Mission [SMM] to Ukraine of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination [JCCC]."

On Saturday, the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics [DPR and LPR] announced withdrawal of tanks and armoured vehicles equipped with weapons under 100mm caliber to a distance of three kilometres away from the line of engagement. Possible withdrawal of such weapons has been discussed at Minsk talks on the settlement in Donbass but no agreement on that matter was reached with Kiev. So, the self-proclaimed republics have taken a decision on unilateral withdrawal in the interests of the soonest peace settlement. Such weapons will be kept only at the positions north of Donetsk and Debaltsevo, or at the most problem sections of the lone of engagement. The LPR is withdrawing weapons from the entire engagement line, except the settlement of Schastye.

So what happens if the PUkes decide to advance where the units pulled back? Will NAF actually fight? Or will they just let it be and be shelled more?

Withdrawl of the armored formations at Elenovka is critical and will be a carrot that ukrops may find hard to resist. Poroshenko's life may depend on what Washington now tells him to do.

We may be very close to this stage, and Poroshenko is the punk...

What does the enemy think of these odd movements?
Are they also trying to find a hidden meaning behind them?
