President Charles de Gaulle and Chancellor Konrad Adenauer signed in 1963 the Élysée Treaty which was an effort to come to a common stance in a variety of matters after years and decades of rivarly.
I think both countries found common interests in economic sphere, in the new reality after the WWII. From one hand the W.Germany wanted economic development and integration in capitalist western Europe, on the contrary of Soviet influence and domination in East Germany, and France of course wanted to be established as a dominant nation in Western Europe.
From the other hand both disliked G.Britain which considered them a trojan horse of USA in European economic community at its beginning and of course they wanted to cooperate to reduce the American dependence of their economies

Yes I think common economy interest is crucial. I want to know more in details, what kind of interest bring them together?

some countries have huge common economy interest , why can't they become good friends or allys. like CHN and USA

what does both countries do in psychological aspect to adress mutual hatred in people's mind ?

A slap on the wrist. If France had the cojones it would hand over the Mistrals to Russia tomorrow. That would send a clear message
to Washington that there are real costs for its arrogance. Instead we will have the soft pussy response we saw in Germany. NATO
proves day in and day out that it is nothing more than the US Empire consisting of the imperial center and its vassals.

I used to believe that western Europe was a collection of independent states. After the Yugoslavia wars of the 1990s I woke up
and realized they were nothing more than US puppets. There was the 1992 Lisbon accords that basically prevented the war in
Bosnia and Herzegovina. Instead of making sure they were enforced, they let that clown US ambassador Zimmerman greenlight
Izetbegovic to start a full blow civil war. Much like the regime in Kiev is greenlighted to suppress the Donbass. Instead of
censuring Washington, these f*ckers censure Russia and impose sanctions against it.

The US attitude towards the eu can be summed up with the well known phrase from last year 'fuck the eu.

Its a discrace that eu countries put up with constant spying on them by their supposed ally. The sooner they wake up and realise that america is a friend to noone the better. I can only imagine the consequences if the french or germans were caught spying on US presidents, there would be hell to pay. When the boots on the othe4 foot you can guarantee nothing will happen.

The spying is in fact an apparatus for blackmail and extortion of politicians...Angela Merkel won't dare to dive too deep in to the rabbit hole for fear of new information surfacing about how deep her father's cooperation with the GDR's Stasi-informant apparatus. That alone could bury Merkel's political career.
