    180mm gun S-23 in Syria

Wonder where they are getting the ammo to feed that beast...

    SAA S-60 57mm

Look at the size of those shells... it was found to be very effective against ground forces... I suspect it will be the same in Syria almost 3kgs of shell at 1km/s is real wake up call in anyones language...

Yes this one should be in Damascus, here's some S-60 in action shelling rebel positions in 2013

This looks like the best cage armour upgrade seen so far...

    From another angle

Video from Qalamoun fighting where the "cage" equipped T-55's are shown, as well as a brief view of the truck mounted KS-19 is seen firing (at 00:17)

Thanks for the contributions guys, if there are more recent pics of SyAAF aircraft that would be great! (that Su-22M-3 pic is the best of it in SyAAF colours i've seen).

Gents, wonder if you can help me, i was reading with surprise in a SIPRI file that Syria supposedly received 4 Buk-M1 systems as far back as 1986! (to clarify, not talking about the Buk-M2E received recently, but the very early variant of the system). Anyone heard anything about that, has there ever been confirmation? Thanks.

From memory, I think they received some Kub-M4 variants which is sort of a hybrid between the Kub and Buk

Do you know if there's any picture or video confirmation of that Cyberspec? While looking on the web, not sure if accurate but i found a link to a syrian air defence drill  vid on youtube describing (apparently) the types of missile shown in it, and that description included the 9K37 Buk-M1 (SA-11), but the video has been deleted. I've seen the well known air-defence drill video depicting the Buk-M2E for the first time among other SAM types, but i haven't seen anything like the Buk-M1 in there- unless i wasn't attentive enough. Thanks.

No unfortunately no hard proof...it was just some alleged sightings of BUK like vehicles (launcher with radar) but only with 3 missiles per launcher, deployed with "regular" KUB vehicles....mind you this was years ago and long before the current war.

A better pic of the KUB-M4
