Its my opinion.. that is a bad idea to have blade like , surfaces at the sides of any tank..
This will pose a major danger to soldiers near a T-15. Not trolling ,just a real observation.
it will not be safe to cover behind a T-15 for protection if your group is attacked and you don't know if the driver will move the car..

Blade like surface... the edges of the errected ERA tiles are at least 4cm thick, no one will be cut or "decapitated" by such a thick "blade". The only issue i see so far is that the engine block compartment door is just 40-60mm thick, i really do hope they will cover it with ERA/NERA tiles other than that it looks good.

Btw, regarding Armata's fan installations in the rear:

Here is one of the Obj 187 prototypes, that tested the X-type diesel layout.

Looks the same as on the T-14

    ...

Regarding the T-14 turret and werewolves suggestion that there's a wooden frame under the tarp....I tend to agree with that. My money is on the turret looking like this (posted a while ago by Zivo I think)

IMO, this is the most accurate estimate of the actual turret shape.  I'm 99% sure the small box on top is a independently aimed smoke launcher. On this rendering, the artist put "Standard" APS launchers on the front of the turret. It may have them, it may not. But I'm 100% sure it will have radars, they could be up front were the artist put the APS, or they might be right below the smoke launchers off to the side. There's not a lot of other placement options. The artist didn't include it, but the turret ring should also have APS tubes radiating from it, and the far side of the turret should have a 2A42 which feeds from the Epoha-lite-esque bustle. Anyways, there's a lot of crap that needs to be placed on the turret, the true turret shape cannot be that big.

Regarding the radars: It could be the array, or the mount for the array, I dont know. It's not terribly large.

Here are some more. LAST PHOTO:'Please note the back of T-15's body in a day light. Sun reflecting on surface and edges gives a good impression on technology of abrasive cuts used... The closer we get to to the big V-day - the more it feels like Christmas.  santa

Thank you. Regarding photos - no problemoo, don't mention it.

As for my avatar, it literally translates: "I liked Sharij" (meaning I clicked 'like' for some of his video or posts in social network. ) And now I'm persecuted and jailed for it. Some Russian inside joke, kinda. This hooliganish cat is guilty as charged. Wink

Anatoliy Shariy (Anatolij Sharij) is an Ukrainian journalists. He was granted an asylum status in EU, because he fled the country in fear of his life and freedom ( even before the Maidan, but not because of Yanukovich, because of typical climate of lawlessness in Ukraine). Now he is a very harsh and trustworthy critic of new Ukrainian regime, because the very same people forced him to leave his motherland (Ukraine) and live abroad. Due to his opposed and loud political statements against current political situation in UKraine he receives a lot of death threads and harassments from Ukraine nationalists and even Ukrainian government itself.

Anatoliy Shariy is mostly the last one who is not affraid to speak about the deception and propaganda of Ukrainian mass media which is close in this to its Russian colleagues. After killing people who hadn’t shameful patriotic believes, Ukrainian government becomes more like to totalitarian regime.
For example, the representative of new Ukrainian government (which has become legitimate due to Ukrainian desire of freedom) has decided to deprive of freedom of speech.
Elected representative of people Anton Herashchenko (advisor of Minister of Internal troops, aka police), who tells the government’s point of view, left the next massage on his Facebook page: “We start to document and define IP adresses of those who like Anatoliy Shariy.

So, I picked this avatar to support the guy and poke the fun of Ukrainian nationalists, who are too brave to "fight" on Internet with freedom of speech. I would love to receive some shit from current Ukrainian government based on the fact that I liked Sharij - I would sue them senseless and would make a huge hiss and loud public notice here in States about it. Let the whole world know. Smile

To be around Fighting Vehicles in our days it to risky. When active depence and ERA explode, you should't be around anyway.

It depends on the quality of the diesel fuel they are using. I bet the residue is not there in all the T-14 and T-15 practicing for
the parade. The engine is a high performance turbocharged diesel not specially tuned to burn commercial grade diesel. This
residue is not associated with engine damage or malfunction.
