i still have 2 hours to go on my end. but its already newyear in Russia and beyond. and i have to head off soon to participate myself.

Well if we are going on record, I would like to say I prefer people who think for themselves and don't just agree to end discussions they think they might lose because they can't explain what they mean as well as the people they are talking to can.

Of course personal attacks and just being stubborn are very frustrating... Twisted Evil

I try to avoid the former, but can be accused of the latter sometimes... I like to think I am open to new information.

Yeah... Hate to see you were on the losing side of that discussion... Space shipyards are simply impractical, though depots and such ideas are not. Sending multiple modules up there is smarter than building it completely in space, which would require huge amounts of energy and man-hours. But, since we're not in the space thread, I'll seal my mouth...

It's not that i think i might lose, it's just that dislike such long roundabout discussions, that'll definitely end in us agreeing to disagree or just the longer i don't respond the more i believe i shouldn't respond. pirat

No insult taken by me.

Quite often it is people who disagree with me makes me think more about what I believe and why.

I usually learn more from people who disagree than those who agree... the real problem comes when people think there is a winner and a loser in a discussion. You get winners and losers in games and in arguments.

Will continue this in the appropriate thread... sorry for sidetracking this thread...
