How France and Germany build their relationship after WWII

there are a lot of wars between two nations

Franco-Prussian War ，WW1 and WW2


how do they build their relationship after WW2 ? and Finally  forgive each other and become good friends？


now they are both core countries  in EU.  How do they achieve that？

President Charles de Gaulle and Chancellor Konrad Adenauer signed in 1963 the Élysée Treaty which was an effort to come to a common stance in a variety of matters after years and decades of rivarly.
I think both countries found common interests in economic sphere, in the new reality after the WWII. From one hand the W.Germany wanted economic development and integration in capitalist western Europe, on the contrary of Soviet influence and domination in East Germany, and France of course wanted to be established as a dominant nation in Western Europe.
From the other hand both disliked G.Britain which considered them a trojan horse of USA in European economic community at its beginning and of course they wanted to cooperate to reduce the American dependence of their economies

Yes I think common economy interest is crucial. I want to know more in details, what kind of interest bring them together?


some countries have huge common economy interest , why can't they become good friends or allys. like CHN and USA

I used to believe that western Europe was a collection of independent states. After the Yugoslavia wars of the 1990s I woke up
and realized they were nothing more than US puppets. There was the 1992 Lisbon accords that basically prevented the war in
Bosnia and Herzegovina. Instead of making sure they were enforced, they let that clown US ambassador Zimmerman greenlight

The spying is in fact an apparatus for blackmail and extortion of politicians...Angela Merkel won't dare to dive too deep in to the rabbit hole for fear of new information surfacing about how deep her father's cooperation with the GDR's Stasi-informant apparatus. That alone could bury Merkel's political career.

I don't know a single German that doesn't know this ^ information, they just don't really care about it.
