The Radio-Electronic Technologists Concern (KRET) of Rostec State Corporation will present for the first time at the Army-2021 forum a new SNV 1a navigation system for light helicopters. This was reported to journalists on Monday in the press service of KRET.

The development of the Ramenskoye Instrument-making Plant (part of KRET) is characterized by a combination of high accuracy with small dimensions and weight of the product. "In addition to high accuracy, weight and dimensions are important avionics parameters. Reducing the size and weight of navigation devices while maintaining quality and reliability is one of the tasks facing developers when creating competitive aviation equipment" – the press service quotes the words of KRET General Director Nikolay Kolesov.

In addition, the concern will present at the forum devices that provide the ability to control the helicopter using instruments. The navigation information generation unit BFNI-1 and the multifunctional indicator IM-23 developed by the Ulyanovsk Instrument Design Bureau provide pilots with comprehensive information about the flight situation, help in navigation and aircraft management, guarantee intelligent support and warning about external threats.

During the forum this year, KRET will present about 140 exhibits, including new navigation systems, flight support systems, on-board computing systems, as well as a weather station for use in the Arctic and 20 models of Tiokraft air purifiers, five of which will be presented for the first time.

Uralvagonzavod will show the modernization potential of its vehicles at Army 2021.

The T-90MS and BMPT-72 tanks created at the Ural Transport Engineering Design Bureau are successful upgrades of the T-90S and T-72 tanks, respectively. They clearly demonstrate how to extend the active and efficient operation of this special equipment with the greatest benefit and at the lowest cost. The large modernization potential of the vehicles makes it possible to improve their design based on modern requirements and offer the customer a new combat unit with increased capabilities or transformed to meet specified tasks.

At the Army 2021 forum, for example, the T-90MS will be presented with a highly automated combat module, which is equipped with a multispectral gunner's sight and a commander's panoramic sight. This allows the commander not only to get more information about the situation, but also to control the armament of the combat vehicle.

To destroy the enemy's tank-dangerous manpower, Tagil designers have laid down a large ammunition load in the BMPT-72, including shrapnel shells, and the large aiming angles of the product's automatic cannons make it possible to hit targets on the upper floors of buildings, fire at low-flying aerial targets such as UAVs. One BMPT can easily replace two infantry fighting vehicles and a motorized rifle platoon.

T-90MS and BMPT-72, like all UVZ armored vehicles, have phenomenal reliability, high security and maneuverability. Their advantages also include excellent maintainability.

Before being presented to the guests and participants of the forum, the formidable combat vehicles underwent a special technical inspection in the company's assembly shop. Then they were washed and painted in the paint-delivery department. According to special drawings, a pattern of camouflage spots was applied.

The tanks were sent to Kubinka. Already on the spot, Uralvagonzavod specialists will bring them from transport to combat condition.

Il-114-300 aircraft banned from flying to Kubinka. 

The Il-114-300 passenger plane will remain at the Ramenskoye airfield in Zhukovsky, and its participation in the Army-2021 forum, as previously planned, is questionable. Due to the crash of the first prototype LVTS Il-112V on August 17, the Il-114-300 flight to Kubinka is prohibited. The reason for this decision was the use of TV7-117ST engines on both aircraft.

"One of the possible causes of the Il-112V crash is now being considered an engine problem. Since the Il-114 aircraft uses the same TV7-117ST engines in their civilian version, it was decided to ban the Il-114-300 aircraft from Zhukovsky airfield to Kubinka to participate in the Army-2021 forum until the causes of the crash with the military transport aircraft are clarified" – the source said.

The Il-112V light military transport aircraft is equipped with two TV7-117ST turboprop engines. The Il-114-300 short-haul passenger aircraft uses a civilian version of the TV7-117ST-01 engines.

Both aircraft were supposed to take part in the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021", which will be held from August 22 to 28 in Kubinka near Moscow.

Previously planned by the organizers of the MAKS-2021 Aerospace Salon, the participation of the Il-112V LVTS in demonstration flights was canceled, the aircraft remained in Voronezh on VASO until August 13, when the flight to Zhukovsky was completed. The reasons for the cancellation of the participation of the Armed Forces in the air show were not given.

The Minister specified that contracts will be signed for the supply of Uran-14 robotic complexes, remote mining systems, artillery systems and heavy flamethrower systems, special equipment for the ground forces, T-90M tanks and for the modernization of T-90 tanks. According to him, 97 countries have confirmed their readiness to participate in the forum. The delegations of 34 of them will be headed by the heads of national military departments. Last year, the forum was attended by representatives from 92 countries. More than 20 thousand samples of military and dual-use products will be exhibited by about 1.5 thousand enterprises, including those from 12 foreign countries.

"The uniqueness of our forum lies in the fact that, as in previous years, we will show weapons and military equipment not only in statics, but also in dynamics with shooting" – the Defense Minister added.

MOSCOW, August 19. /TASS/. Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) will unveil the mockups of the large amphibious assault ship Kaiman and the autonomous underwater drone Yunona at the Army-2021 international military-technical forum, the USC press office announced on Thursday.

"The USC will demonstrate for the first time on the demonstration center’s site the mockups of the Kaiman large amphibious assault ship based on Project 11711 and the Yunona autonomous unmanned submersible vehicle," the press office said in a statement.

Among its military exhibits, the United Shipbuilding Corporation will showcase a Project 22800E missile corvette, a Project 12322 amphibious assault hovercraft, a Project 12701 coastal-type mine countermeasures ship, a Project 20382 small guard ship, a Project 21301 vessel for rescuing the crews of submarines in distress, a Project 636 submarine with the Club-S missile system and other warships, the statement says.

This year, the United Shipbuilding Corporation will also feature new innovation projects of civilian output. Rostec to present Penicillin export complex at Army 2021.

Roselektronika Holding of Rostec State Corporation will for the first time present the Penicillin sound and thermal exploration complex in an export version at the Army-2021 forum. Depending on the design, the system can detect targets at a distance of up to 38 km. The minimum deployment time to the combat position is 20 minutes.

"Penicillin" is designed for reconnaissance of firing positions of artillery pieces, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and launching positions of enemy anti-aircraft and tactical missiles, while simultaneously servicing the firing of its own artillery.

"Unlike most similar systems, Penicillin detects enemy artillery not by using radar, but thanks to a new principle of combining thermal and sound reconnaissance, which makes it impossible to suppress it electronically. The complex captures acoustic and thermal signals from shots and explosions, gives out the exact coordinates of the location of guns and plots them on an electronic map. The time to get coordinates from a single target does not exceed 5 seconds" – said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of Rostec.

The complex consists of two vehicles on a KAMAZ chassis: a sound-measuring vehicle and a sound-thermal reconnaissance vehicle. Depending on the delivery option, the complex can include from two (one car of each type) to six units of equipment.

"Penicillin" has successfully passed state tests and is already being delivered to the Russian army. Together with Rosoboronexport, we are currently negotiating with several potential foreign customers, including operators of Post-3M radio intelligence stations. As part of the forum, we plan to hold several presentations of the complex and demonstrate its work" – said Vyacheslav Mikheev, General Director of Vega Concern.

The Ka-226T light helicopter in a new shape, adapted for solving problems in high-altitude conditions, will be displayed in a static parking lot. "The helicopter's fuselage is made using modern lightweight materials, the helicopter's control system and electrical system have been upgraded, and a high-impact accident-resistant fuel system has been installed that meets increased safety requirements. At the same time, the volume of fuel tanks with centralized fuel filling has been increased. At Kubinka airfield, visitors will be able to see the world's largest production helicopter, the upgraded Mi-26T2B, as well as the Mi-38T amphibious transport helicopter and the Ansat Aurus civilian helicopter.

In particular, guests and participants of the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the ergonomic cabin of a promising helicopter, as well as with the system for monitoring the technical condition of the main power elements of the Ansat helicopter" – Russian Helicopters noted.

For the first time at Army, the holding will demonstrate the BAS-200 drone, which can perform flights lasting up to four hours and climb to an altitude of up to 3,900 meters.

"For the first time at the Army Forum, the UAV BAS-200 will be presented, which will be located in the aviation exhibition area at Kubinka airfield. The maximum take-off weight of the vehicle is 200 kilograms. It can reach speeds of up to 160 km / h and carry a commercial load weighing up to 50 kilograms" – the report says.

Visitors will also be able to see a ground-based control system that provides communication with the drone at a range of up to 100 kilometers. "The length of the device is 3.9 meters, the height is 1.2 meters.
