It has been reported in previous discussion that Navy probably will get up to 50 Su-30SM. I think they are going to be stationed in the 3 regions referred to the article below

Russia to Reinforce Military Groupings in Crimea, Kaliningrad, Arctic

I believe naval Su-30SM regiments will be in Crimea, Kaliningrad and in Kamchatka, but Arctic will be most probably covered by air force Su-34 and MiG-31BM.

I think priority for this year should be the completion of black sea fleet Su-30sm regiment from 3 to 12 aircrafts

I think RuNavy will this year only equip 1 Black Sea squadron, the rest of Su-30SM will go for RuAF regiment. Next year could all planes go to Navy to equip Kamchatka regiment and squadron in Kaliningrad and years later they could fully equip regiments in Black Sea and Kaliningrad.

Another 3 are under operational tests also (probably one of them will be the 5th for naval aviation of 1st contract).
2 contracts for naval su-30sm (5+7) as we have said

Excellent. RuNAVY have 7 Su-30SM now, 5 more and there will be whole squadron for Black Sea fleet. I hope NAVY will order 72 more for fleets.

    Another 2 Su-30SM

These 2 along the previous 2 built in april-may have not been formally transferred to the Navy yet. So still we have only 3 in service

Why do there appear to be different inlets? On one aircraft there are no outlets? behind the inlet, on another 40 one outlet and on 41 two. Or do they all have two and they are in different positions of openness?

    EDIT
Just looked in higher def and it seems they all have them. What are they for?

Those are additional inlets for when the main inlets are covered by the wired mesh guard to protect engines from the debris during take offs.

I saw a bit of news couple of days ago that VMF might want as many as 57 Su-30SM (with 20 already ordered). Hopefully i can find it again.

Given the news of 60-75 SMs to be ordered by the RuMoD for the next 3 years, i'm prudently assuming that the VMF ones are included in that total, so about 37 more to go, which might mean VVS would get an additional 38 or so on top of the 60 already ordered.
