look at the situation in yemen
suddenly , Al Qaeda vanished in Yemen and all of them become Saudi lovers and peacekeepers !!!
Economically and ideologically , Saudi Arabia is origin of al-Qaeda.

Saudi Arabia - 100 aircraft, 150,000 troops, Naval vessels
    Egypt - Naval Vessels
    UAE - 30 aircraft
    Bahrain - 15 aircraft
    Kuwait - 15 aircraft
    Qatar - 10 aircraft
    Jordan - 6 aircraft
    Morocco - 6 aircraft
    Sudan - 3 aircraft
Pakistan - undetermined number of naval ships and aircraft

look at the list of coalition
a coalition of monarchs and failed-states gathered together to punish a homegrown group in an impoverished country and blame their illegal aggression on Iran lol1

    anyway
Iran always plays the long-term game and She does it so masterfully.

Civilians killed in Arab airstrikes on Yemen

At least six children under the age of 10 were among a reported 25 people killed in Saudi Arabian-led airstrikes in the Yemeni capital Sana’a early this morning, Amnesty International confirmed after speaking to hospital officials and eyewitnesses
    .

The organization spoke to medical personnel at four different hospitals where the dead were taken after being pulled from the rubble of 14 houses that were hit in a residential neighbourhood near the city’s international airport. The rest of those killed were men, mostly in their 30s and 40s. It is believed that more people may still be buried beneath the rubble, and at least 20, including four women, were admitted to hospital with mainly shrapnel injures.

This high toll of civilian deaths and injuries in these attacks raises concerns about compliance with the rules of international humanitarian law. Saudi Arabian and any other armed forces carrying out airstrikes in Yemen are required to take all feasible precautions to spare civilians.

“This high toll of civilian deaths and injuries in these attacks raises concerns about compliance with the rules of international humanitarian law. Saudi Arabian and any other armed forces carrying out airstrikes in Yemen are required to take all feasible precautions to spare civilians,” said Said Boumedouha, Deputy Director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Programme.

“This includes verifying that targets are in fact military objectives and giving civilians effective advance warnings unless circumstances do not permit.

“The Huthi armed groups and the Yemeni armed forces also have obligations under international humanitarian law to protect civilians under their control from the effects of attacks, including by avoiding, to the extent feasible, locating their fighters and weaponry within residential neighbourhoods.”

Given the civilian deaths and injuries, Saudi Arabia and other states involved in these airstrikes must investigate whether violations of international humanitarian law were committed. And if there is evidence that war crimes were committed they must prosecute the suspects in fair trials.

Yemen’s Ministry of Health today said the airstrikes killed 25 people and injured some 40 – it is not yet known if there were any fighters among the casualties.

According to a paramedic who witnessed the aftermath, the airstrike near the airport occurred shortly before 3AM local time, in a residential area called Beni Hawat. Huthi armed groups had allegedly been operating a checkpoint around 100m away, as well as al-Dailami base around 500m away.

Saudi Arabian officials today stated they had destroyed “all Huthi air defences" at al-Dailami base next to Sana’a International Airport.

Beni Hawat was among a number of sites around the city hit by airstrikes overnight as Saudi Arabia announced it was launching a military intervention by a coalition of 10 countries, including five Gulf Cooperation Council states, against the Huthi armed groups. The US government today stated it had “authorized the provision of logistical and intelligence support” to this military intervention, and other governments, including the UK and Turkey, endorsed the move.

Iran, Russia demand immediate halt to Saudi-led intervention in Yemen

Iran and Russia have called on Saudi Arabia to halt airstrikes on Yemen as supporters of Yemen’s ruling Houthi militants stage demonstrations throughout the country, protesting against the Saudi-led military intervention.

Speaking to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Russia’s Vladimir Putin called for an "immediate cessation of military activities" in Yemen and for the boosting of efforts to find a peaceful solution to the crisis, the Kremlin said in a statement on Thursday.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that military operations against Yemen will only lead to further destabilization of the region, which has fallen under Houthi control after an onslaught of increased violence in recent months.

“We demand an immediate stop to the Saudi military operations in Yemen,” he said in an interview with Iran's Arabic-language al-Alam news network on Thursday. “We will spare no effort to contain the crisis in Yemen.”

Iran is suspected of providing supplies and training to the Houthi rebels, but Tehran has publicly denied these claims.

A United Arab Emirates official, however, expressed concerns about Iran's influence in Yemen.

"The strategic change in the region benefits Iran and we cannot be silent about the fact that the Houthis carry their banner," UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash tweeted on Thursday.

In addition, Lebanon’s Hezbollah has decried the move as “unjust aggression.” The Shiite group urged Saudi Arabia and its allies to cease the strikes immediately.

"This adventure, [which] lacks wisdom and legal and legitimate justification and which is led by Saudi Arabia, is taking the region towards increased tension and dangers for the future and the present of the region," the group said in a statement on Thursday.

Saudi-led strikes, launched early Thursday morning, targeted the country’s capital Sanaa as well as a southern base. Following the strikes, a Houthi revolutionary committee called for mass rallies to stir up public support for a military response to the Saudi intervention.

“We will react against Saudi oppression in all ways we are capable...Yemeni blood is not cheap. Saudi has announced war in Yemen,” said Ali Al Kohom, a member of the Houthi Political Council.

Houthi leadership has also maintained that the country is ready to ward of Saudi aggression without help from Tehran.

“Yemeni people are prepared to face this aggression without any foreign interference," Houthi politburo official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti told Reuters.

Meanwhile, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini has said that a military response will not solve the crisis in Yemen, and urged all parties to act “responsibly.”

“I’m convinced that military action is not a solution,” she said. “At this critical juncture, all regional actors should act responsibly and constructively to create as a matter of urgency the conditions for a return to negotiations.”

Though Washington is not involved directly in the operation, the White House has authorized “logistical and intelligence support.”

Yemen’s ousted President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi left the country's southern city of Aden on Thursday, where he had been holing up since fleeing Houthi custody in February. Saudi state TV said he has arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh and will later head to Egypt under Saudi protection, where he is expected to attend an Arab summit on Saturday.

An escalating conflict in Yemen could bode badly for global oil supplies, as oil prices spiked more than four percent on Thursday.

According to senior Houthi official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, Houthis were going to fight back against Saudi Arabia and its Persian Gulf Arab allies with all possible means.

SANAA (Sputnik) – Houthi rebels who have become the target of an international military operation launched by Saudi Arabia against the militants in Yemen are determined to strike back with all means available, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthi governance board, has told Sputnik.

"This is a declaration of war against the Yemeni people, we will fight those who fight against us."

The official added that Saudi Arabia and its Persian Gulf Arab allies will regret having launched a military operation against the Houthis.

"They attacked, they started this, so they will answer to Allah and the people for the consequences. This attack is a surprise to us and we will respond to it with all means that are available to us."

Earlier, al-Bukhaiti reportedly warned of a "wide war" that could start in Yemen following Saudi Arabia and its Persian Gulf Arab allies' "aggression."

Arab Foreign Ministers Form Unified Military Force in Wake of Yemen Strikes

Foreign ministers from 22 Arab states meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh agreed to a draft resolution Thursday to create a unified military force to counter regional security threats.

The move comes the same day that Saudi and allied war planes struck at Houthi rebel targets in Yemen.

"The Arab… ministers agreed on adopting an important principle, which is forming the unified Arab military force," Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby told reporters following the meeting.

"The task of the force will be rapid military intervention to deal with security threats to Arab nations.”

The draft resolution will be discussed by Arab leaders during their March 28-29 summit in Egypt.

The Arab league chief described the resolution as "historic."

Failing US Mid-East Policy Likely to Cause Proxy War in Yemen - Senators

US President Barack Obama’s foreign policy in the Middle East has contributed to the security crisis in Yemen that is likely to cause a large scale regional proxy war, US Senator Lindsay Graham said during a news conference with other lawmakers.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) —The United States is not participating in the military operation, but agreed to provide its allies logistical and intelligence support.

“I want the American people to know that the three of us [Senators] support this [military] operation to take Yemen back from the Iranian proxies, but we categorically reject President Obama’s foreign policy that we believe substantially contributed to this mess,” the Republican Senator said on Thursday.

“We're on the verge of a full scale proxy war in Yemen between Iran and Sunni Arab states that could spill over into Syria, Iraq, Bahrain, Libya, Lebanon [and] Jordan,” Graham warned. “The Mid-East is on fire, and it is every person for themselves.”

Graham’s warning comes as Saudi Arabia and a coalition of several, mostly Arab states, began airstrikes against Yemen’s Houthi rebels on Wednesday. Saudi Arabia has reportedly deployed 100 fighter aircraft and 150,000 troops for the operation.

On Thursday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani condemned the Saudi-led military intervention saying it is “very dangerous and deepens the crisis." Meanwhile, Sunni Arab states are weary of the rise of Shiite Houthis and Iranian influence in the region, which has sparked concerns of further sectarian conflict in the Middle East.

US Senator John McCain said that Saudi Arabia, one of Washington’s closet allies in the Middle East, began military operations without telling the United States, which the Republican lawmakers claimed was a signal of their distrust toward the United States.

“[O]ur closest allies in the region [Saudi Arabia] no longer trust us,” McCain said. [T]hey wait a matter of a few hours before beginning a major military operation. It's because they no longer have any trust or confidence in the United States of America."

"This conflict will draw in other nations, and this conflict could expand into probably one of the most dangerous periods in that part of the world that we have seen in centuries,” McCain said.

The security situation in Yemen has deteriorated in the past several weeks as the country is split among the opposition Houthi fighters battling troops loyal to President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in the center of the country, and al-Qaeda militants gaining a foothold in the south.

The Houthi militants began taking control of large areas in Yemen, which forced President Hadi and his government to resign in late January 2015. Hadi was under house arrest in the capital Sanaa before he fled to the port city of Aden in February, disavowing his resignation, and is reportedly hiding abroad at present.

Saudi Arabia Coalition Starts Naval Blockade of Bab El-Mandeb Strait

The Arab states' coalition led by Saudi Arabia began naval blockade of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait which links the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean, Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported Friday citing anonymous sources.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The newspaper said that Saudi Arabia's western fleet blocked major Yemeni ports, including Aden.

Intense explosions were reported on the ground in the Yemeni capital Sanaa early Friday as coalition airstrikes resumed on the positions of missile forces there.

On Thursday, the coalition of Arab states comprising Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt among other states launched airstrikes against Houthi rebel positions in Yemen. The strikes were reportedly carried out on the airport in Sanaa and a number of military positions following the request of ousted Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

In January 2015, the Houthi rebels seized presidential palace and some government buildings in Sanaa, forcing Hadi to resign and dissolved the parliament. In early February, Houthis announced formation of a presidential council in order to form a transitional government.

Hadi, who was placed under house arrest in Sanaa, fled to the port city of Aden in February and later rescinded his resignation.

There is some chatter on the net about Russian and Chinese naval groupings moving towards Bab El-Mandeb. Severomorsk (of proekt 1155) has been mentioned in conjunction with that.

Anybody has any news about that?

    Where was Severomorsk last?

By the way, regarding Yemen, here's some additional chatter.

    - Early on Saudis lost 2-4 aircraft.

    - Yesterday UAE lost one aircraft.

    - "Houthi" forces have already moved into Saudi Arabia.

The Nazi losses should, of course, be a lot more than these numbers suggest. There are many reasons for this; one circumstantial evidence is the swift and relatively massive additional gains that the "Houthis" have made over the last 24 hours, and this is confirmed by "everyone".

As far as Saudi (and co) losses go, we know for sure of 1 x F-15 (officially malfunction) and apparently 1 x Sudanese fighter (not sure what type) as claimed by the houthis...apparently the pilot has been captured.

    ...

One comentator described the Saudis as a primitive desert tribe that won the lottery. They now believe they are Allah's instrument on earth and chosen ones.

Maybe it's too early to make predictions but I think this will backfire on them

Pictures of shot down Sudanese jet. It seems Jemen shot down 1 Saudi F-15 and 1 Sudanese jet (which type?). I wonder now, did they shot them down by SAMs or by MiGs? Saudi F-15 fall in the sea, so most probably MiG as I don't know, if Jemen (Houtis) have SAMs with enough long range. If shot down by MiGs, than who fly in them? Maybe Iran send some MiG-29 pilots in Jemen to fly in their MiG-29SMT. This could make headache for Saudis, Iranian pilots are well trained.

Here is a video of Sudanese jet.

I saw a video allegedly of the destroyed "Sudanese" jet. The video was of better quality. What I saw there most probably seemed to be a Yemeni Su-22.

Unless we'll have better info/images, i'm afraid i agree with the assessments that the images above depict likely S-75 or maybe S-125 SAM debris (you can see the nozzle), not an aircraft.

Yemeni President Hadi Accuses Iran of Supporting Houthi Rebels

Yemeni President accused Tehran of supplying arms to the Shiite Houthi rebel group.

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, March 28 (Sputnik) – Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi on Saturday accused Tehran of supplying arms to the Shiite Houthi rebel group and of plotting against the Yemeni people.

“I urge to continue the [Saudi-led military] operation until they [Houthi rebels] will not hand in the arms that Iran was supplying them with for the last several years to wage a war against the state and the people of Yemen,” Hadi said at the Arab League Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Hadi added that the coalition’s attacks should also continue until the Houthis "give up on their conspiracy with Iran against Yemen.”

The Shiite Houthi rebels have seized vast territories in Yemen, including the country’s capital of Sanaa forcing the elected government and President Hadi to resign. In February, Hadi managed to flee from his house arrest to the southern Yemeni city of Aden and, later, to leave the country. He also recalled his resignation.

Late on Wednesday night an international coalition of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, Pakistan and Egypt launched a military campaign targeting Houthi positions in the Yemeni capital Sanaa. The attack came in response to a request by Hadi. The operation called “Decisive Storm” already claimed dozens of lives including those of the civilians.

Earlier on Saturday, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said that the joint military operation will continue until its goals are reached.
