Russia should update the Niva.   Avtovaz sold the rights to GM, but GM is doing basically nothing with its version.
The Russian design is stuck in the 1970s.

But it's how they kept it so cheap. Even the 5 door model. While it would be cool for a more modern model, but at current rate, Avtovaz is concentrating more on the Vesta and X-ray line.

It's the Sedan model, not the Limo model.

There is no evidence of the 1 meter stretch in any of the videos and photos I posted.   The limos will be a low volume
production batch after the main production starts.   There is a large separation between the front and rear doors in
the limo version which is clearly absent in anything I posted.

The number of lugs on those wheels is impressive.  This is not your usual 5 lug, tin foil crap designed for the average consumer.
It looks to me that this sedan is much tougher than any pickup truck ever produced, including the duallys.   It must weigh
well over two tons (maybe even more than three tons) and that explains the choice of engines.  The Rolls Royce Phantom
which has a 453 hp V12 has a weight of 2.63 tons.   So Cortezh will likely be heavier.
