It'll most likely be 'United-40' UCAV which is what Ukraine lacks, or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimr
Dont think Poroshenko would travel all the way to UAE for peanuts. Suspect it's a 3 party deal, with the US involved behind the scenes.

Ukies are getting something, UA Defense Minister put out a statement to that effect, along with some ramblings about how it's gonna be a way for the UAE to get back at Russia (and this at the very same arms show where Russia displayed hundreds of pieces of its newest equipment and secured sales to that very same UAE).

Ukraine continues to buy with no money
Russia continues to sell and business as usual despite its 'isolation'

I think that about sums up the whole thing really.

Or it could be that that Franco-Russian APC deal is still going ahead, only the French side seems to have gotten reeeeal quiet about it (but is still doing it Smile)

Nobody has ordered ATOM though, so there isn't exactly much money.

If the UAE is going ahead with the Lazar II-derived Enigma as seems the case, I don't see how "ATOM" fits into the picture anymore...
UAE middleman/integrator could easily facilitate sanctions bypass if they wanted, but that looks defunct now.  Time will tell.
EDIT: Saudi funded arms for Lebanon is supposedly specified to be spent on French kit, ATOM w/ Rus. turret might qualify there?

Russia plans to buy T-80U tanks and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles that gave to South Korea in 1990s as repayment of the Soviet debt. It is assumed that the tanks are designed for disassembly for parts, but interviewed military experts do not rule out the possibility of resale to Cyprus and Yemen.

The first Mi-26T2 helicopter for Jordan

Recall that on April 17, 2016, JSC Helicopters of Russia concluded contract No. RH-15-0651-04-1 for the supply of four Mi-26T2 helicopters with the Jordanian state bureau The King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB). The helicopters, apparently, will be transferred to the Jordanian Air Force.

Jordan became the second foreign military customer of Mi-26T2 helicopters after Algeria.
