Νιce. It seems that in January will be completed all the projected deliveries of 2015 (with 1 month delay).
So all next Su-30SMs will be for AF, not any of them for Navy

I think Navy got all their Su-30SM for 2015, so next will be for 2016. More interesting question is, now we know RuAF signed a new contract for Su-35 in December last year, if they also sign a new contract for Su-30SM with Irkut and for how many. There were rumors for around 75 in three years to receive around 25 per year.

I believe there are still 12 left in the first 60 after these deliveries.

Excellent infograph, although I'm not sure if Iraq have any Su-30. Considering Su-30SM will be main ground based fighter-bomber of Russian NAVY, I would really like to see there Oniks and Kalibr missiles too. I wonder if Su-30SM could use KAB-500S satellite guided bombs?

Iraq does not operate any SU30s, they however were interested in obtaining them back in 2014. however they do not have any atm, not sure how Iraq ended being on the map of users. They can use every variation of KAB family including S/SE. I guess we can expect them in future to get Brahmos air launched variant maybe too.

That makes 12 or the first squadron which hopefully will soon be operational. With a combat range of 1500 km, the planes out of Millerovo can cover from the Azerbaijan - Iran border on the Caspian Sea to the Russian - Estonian border on the Gulf of Finland.

2 more new Su-30SM flew to Milerovo yesterday. That makes 14 there

    http://bmpd.livejournal.com/1735917.html

Airplanes are built as part of March and December 2012 two contracts for the supply of each of 30 Su-30cm to Russian Air Forces (VKS) of Russia. Earlier in the period 2012-2016 for these contracts, Irkut has delivered to the Air Force (VCS) 48 Su-30cm.

In addition, during the 2015 Irkut passed four Su-30cm for Kazakhstan (serial numbers 1118, 1119, 1120, 1201) and five Su-30cm for the Russian Navy Naval Aviation (serial numbers from 1202 to 1206). By the end of 2015 at the Irkut plant have been transferred for flight testing five Russian Su-30cm aircraft (serial numbers 1301 - 1303, 1305 and 1307) for the Air force, but none of them has not yet been delivered to the customer.

So we have 50 Su-30SM delivered in total to the air force, out of 60 ordered. And there are also 5 more in flight tests to be delivered next days.

    Cheers franco!! cheers russia

6 more Su-30SM at Millerovo today!!

    http://bmpd.livejournal.com/1737325.html

According to the web-site forums.airforce.ru, February 13, 2016 from Irkutsk with intermediate landings took off for the trip to the airport Millerovo (Rostov region) immediately sent six VKS Russia new multifunctional fighters Su-30cm construction Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAP) PAO "Corporation" Irkut ". This aircraft with red hull numbers" 02 "(serial number 1220)," 21 "(serial number 1301)," 22 "(serial number 1302)," 23 "(serial number 1303)," 25 "(serial number 1305) and" 27 "(serial number 1307). in the evening, February 13, these fighters have made a stopover at the airport Tolmachevo (Novosibirsk).

We recall that the previous day, February 12, from Irkutsk Millerovo flew two Su-30cm new construction IAP with red hull numbers "26" (serial number 1306) and "28" (serial number 1308). All these eight aircraft must join the stationed at the airport 31-Millerovo Fighter Regiment of the 1st Mixed Aviation Division of the 4th Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Southern Military District.

On their arrival the number of new Su-30SM as part of the 31st regiment should reach 20 units.

Thus, Irkut production plan is completely closed for 2015 for the the Su-30cm fighter for the Air Force (FSI) of Russia, took to the air in 2015, 22 of this type of aircraft. Total thus in the period 2012-2016 entered service with (VCS) 56 Su-30SM.

    russia Cheers! cheers

It's interesting, that they show export variant called Su-30SME. Looks like Su-30MKI/MKM with fully Russian equipment without French or Israeli components.

No, Su-30SM is better as it will replace both Su-24 and Su-27 in RuNAVY. Su-30SM doesn't have SVP-24 as it is upgrade kit, but its Fire Control Complex with GLONASS satnav is same capable in using free fall bombs from high altitude as SVP-24. In anti-ship role Su-30SM is no worse than Su-34, but in air combat it is far better.

Well by the time they arrive in Navy they should switch to guided munitions anyway. Dumb bombs would be used up by then and Naval Aviation is more likely to use anti-ship missiles rather than bombs. Those are for the VKS.

is wikipedia source is accurate about the number of plane russian has and is all su-27 in soviet era still in service?

and how you guy differentiate between su-27/30/35 because if i'm not mistake all come from the same t-10 airframe.
i cannot see the difference especially su-27 and su-35 except for su-30/sm/mki/mkm because they had canard.

and from wiki su-30sm is derivative from mkm/mki with all russian made avionic.
compared to SME and MKI/MKM any major improvement especially targeting pod? I read somewhere before that russian very bad in thermal imaging..that why India and Malaysia use France version.

The most easy way to differentiate Su-30 and Su-35 from Su-27 variants is by twin nose wheel and IFR probe on Su-30 variants and Su-35. Su-27 have single nose wheel and doesn't have IFR capabilities. Su-30SM also have canards and Su-30SM and Su-35 have engines with TVC. Su-30 was developed from twin seater Su-27UB and Su-35 was developed from single seater Su-27.

Su-30SM is domestic fully Russian version for RuAF and RuNAVY of Su-30MKI/MKM, made by Irkut. Malaysia use French equipment, India use Israeli equipment and Israeli Litening targeting pod. Russia for now doesn't use targeting pods, but one is in testings with MiG-35/29M. Most probably this pod will also be installed on Su-30 and Su-35 fighters.
