we heared alot of point of views and analysis that tell us about some secret sensors and viruses and software to control and spy the aircrafts that america sell to some countries(like egypt pakistan,,etc..)..!!

    some witnesses

China finds spy bugs in Jiang's Boeing jet.........
CHINA claims to have found almost 30 surveillance bugs, including one in the headboard of the presidential bed, on a Boeing 767 that had just been delivered from America to serve as President Jiang Zemin's official aircraft.

search of the twin-engined aircraft, which was manufactured and fitted out in America, yielded 27 devices, according to Chinese officials, hidden in its seats, lavatory and panelling.

    .....
Beijing believes that the bugs were planted by the Central Intelligence Agency while the aircraft was undergoing conversion work in San Antonio, Texas.
    ....
The CIA refused to respond to the report. Bill Harlow, the spy agency's spokesman, said: "We never comment on allegations like these, as a matter of policy." The White House used almost identical words, saying: "We never discuss these types of allegations."

One Western diplomat said that behind the outrage the Chinese were likely to view the devices as an intelligence windfall. Army scientists will now have the opportunity to "reverse engineer" the latest in American surveillance equipment.

Despite a six-year effort to build trusted computer chips for military systems, the Pentagon now manufactures in secure facilities run by American companies only about 2 percent of the more than $3.5 billion of integrated circuits bought annually for use in military gear.

That shortfall is viewed with concern by current and former United States military and intelligence agency executives who argue that the menace of so-called Trojan horses hidden in equipment circuitry is among the most severe threats the nation faces in the event of a war in which communications and weaponry rely on computer technology.

As advanced systems like aircraft, missiles and radars have become dependent on their computing capabilities, the specter of subversion causing weapons to fail in times of crisis, or secretly corrupting crucial data, has come to haunt military planners.

Only one-fifth of all computer chips are now made in the United States, and just one-quarter of the chips based on the most advanced technologies are built here, I.B.M. executives say
Cyberwarfare analysts argue that while most computer security efforts have until now been focused on software, tampering with hardware circuitry may ultimately be an equally dangerous threat. That is because modern computer chips routinely comprise hundreds of millions, or even billions, of transistors. The increasing complexity means that subtle modifications in manufacturing or in the design of chips will be virtually impossible to detect.

“Compromised hardware is, almost literally, a time bomb, because the corruption occurs well before the attack,” Wesley K. Clark, a retired Army general, wrote in an article in Foreign Affairs magazine that warns of the risks the nation faces from insecure computer hardware.
In the future, and possibly already hidden in existing weapons, clandestine additions to electronic circuitry could open secret back doors that would let the makers in when the users were depending on the technology to function. Hidden kill switches could be included to make it possible to disable computer-controlled military equipment from a distance. Such switches could be used by an adversary or as a safeguard if the technology fell into enemy hands.

A Trojan horse kill switch may already have been used.
The United States has used a variety of Trojan horses, according to various sources.

In 2004, Thomas C. Reed, an Air Force secretary in the Reagan administration, wrote that the United States had successfully inserted a software Trojan horse into computing equipment that the Soviet Union had bought from Canadian suppliers. Used to control a Trans-Siberian gas pipeline, the doctored software failed, leading to a spectacular explosion in 1982.

The bugs in the Chinese airliner were unlikely to be the work of the CIA, it is not their role to do that sort of thing.

It is much more likely the NSA did it.

As far as the Chinese leaders using the aircraft it would probably be best if they simply didn't use them because for every bug they have found there are probably another 50 that are dormant and therefore undetectable that will start operating after a pre-determined period.

This is why it is important for the Russians to buy technology and then build it themselves and develop new technology from that, rather than continue to buy components from other countries.

In 2004, Thomas C. And what would have happened if they decided to use that computer hardware in a nuclear power station or on an automatic launch system for a battery of tactical nuclear weapons.

It is pretty clear that the US was prepared to use any underhanded trick in the book, which is the real reason they "won" the cold war.

The question now is can they be trusted. They have a track record that says no.

some military experts in egypt talked and confirmed these things !!

some sources said that egyptians with co-operation with pakistan, succeed to

penetrate the f16 software and control it !! all the way we are going to manufacture

our own fighter,,americans are friends worth than enemies..!! they have to respekt the others..

I can't recall that SD-10 was ever integrated in F-16; which points out that we aren't capable to breach through US source code to get our domestic BVRs integrated with their radar & such...
These are the launch platforms of SD-10 (~no F-16 or even western Mirages)
    Launch
    platform Shenyang J-15
    J-11B / J-11BS / J-11BH / J-11BSH
    J-10A / J-10S / J-10B
    J-8II
    JF-17
    Type 054, Type 054A frigates

do you hear some thing like that ?

Pakistan had purchased few special trucks to operate in desert area during 2001-2002 Pak/India standoff and as always, they were delivered with certain conditions and restrictions not to open its sealed sections. One of the trucks got problems during its operations and it got stuck in desert. Considering war threats and expected delays in its fixing by American Engineers, our militry Engineers opened one of those sections and found it was carrying homing device. Pakistan returned those trucks back to our "friend" the expressed their anger for spying and deceiving
this happenes with our abrams ,,egyptian engineer found it..! Mad

    Wow, that is really blatant.

You'd think with all their tactics and precautions they'd have found OBL by now...

They are making things so small now you couldn't find them.

Maybe they are at the point where things could be put into vaccines and people could be tracked.....killed if they wanted to by sending a signal to the nano-device.

If you didn't make it yourself.....it's not good.

Worse than that... I rather doubt the US put tracking devices in Pakistani trucks to help the Indians, but if the Indians had noticed that tracking signal and worked out its structure so that they could use it to track all coded Pakistani equipment of American origin that would be an enormous advantage in a conflict.

    Imagine tracking device guided munitions!
